Last month saw internationally renowned Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week take Wedding World by storm. Elaine, who runs Elaine Rawlings Bridal Boutique in Truro, was at the Justin Alexander show to view the spring/summer 2019 bridal collection, and we got the lowdown on what to expect to see on brides at next year's at weddings.
"For those who want to feel like a Hollywood starlet, sparkling fabrics dazzled through the skirts on the catwalk," says Elaine. "At the opposite end of the scale, designers are offering quintessentially English elegance with smooth clean lines and not a bead in sight... which I'm sure will soon be dubbed 'the Meghan look!'."
She also saw a range of necklines grace the catwalks, from traditional sweetheart to boatneck and classic illusion, and even the dramatic V-neck plunge for the more daring.
"Fit and flare, fishtail and princess ball gowns to suit all shapes and styles graced the rails for boutiques to choose from. The gowns are arriving in store already so make your appointment to try these gorgeous new collections pronto!"
