Compiling this issue of Wed - our biggest issue to date - has given me a serious case of the I-want-to-get-married-again pangs. It really is a very cool time to be planning your wedding. These pages are bursting with so many wow-worthy weddings, swoonsome styling details and downright genius ideas that I lost myself, on more than one occasion, in a sweet daydream, replaying my wedding day - but with that decor, that tune or that brilliant idea. You'll see why when you turn to 'Party Fever!', a showcase of sure-fire ways to throw a party packed with personality, while 'Groove is in the Heart' is brimming with sensational soundtrack inspiration.
Style also takes centre stage this issue. We spent a memorable day shooting our bridal fashion special 'The Enchanted Garden' in the world's largest greenhouse - and one of Cornwall's most iconic locations - the Eden Project. Frocks of soft chiffon and wispy tulle set the sweet summery mood, perfect for brides dreaming of gliding barefoot along Cornwall's secret gardens or secluded beaches.
From tropical biome to stately home, the enchanting climes of Boconnoc House made an achingly beautiful backdrop for 'Lady Luxe'. Teamed with oodles of glinting jewels, this showcase of glamorous gowns and deliciously decadent embellishment is just the ticket for brides seeking a dazzling, aisle-worthy look. And to complete your ensemble in style, Juno & Joy's Sarah Christopher covers prettily personal finishing touches in 'Accessories All Areas'.
For an all-eyes-on-you statement, dabble with dip-dye. 'Shady Lady' shows you how to carry the look from your bridal wear to your blooms and all inbetween, while 'Spirited Away' celebrates the beauty of an elopement wedding on the very edge of Cornwall. This issue's real weddings echo the swoon-worthy mood. From stylish shindigs by the sea to rustic festivities in the country, each wedding is brimming with brilliantly individual touches, gorgeous details and a whole lotta love. Turn to p.154 and prepare for those cockles to be well and truly warmed.
Now let's get this party started!
