ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE
Welcome to Wed! Whatever stage you're at in your wedding journey - whether you're still gazing in excitable admiration at your sparkly new engagement ring or ticking off the final jobs on your W-day to-do list - you'll find gorgeous ideas and words of wisdom galore to inspire the dreamiest of days.
A feast for the senses awaits, as we take you from the heady scent and colour of a Cornish garden to the salty air and staggering cliffscapes of the Cornish coast. There's breathtaking bridal wear and scintillating diamond rings, there's rustic romance and marine-inspired vibes and there's mouth-watering menus and flavoursome drinks.
Let's start with that garden. We loved our day shooting bridal fashion story, 'Flower Girl', amidst a carnival of camellias, rhododendrons and bluebells at stunning new wedding venue, Burncoose House. You'll find gowns of fine silk, lace and chiffon adorned with beautiful floral detail captured against nature's brilliantly colourful canvas. Meanwhile, 'Pure Love' is a love song to lace, celebrating the perennial bridal favourite in its most achingly romantic forms. We photographed this story in the grounds of The Stack, an extraordinary converted engine house - and new wedding venue - tucked away in the heart of the Cornish countryside.
This issue also takes you to the heart of the matter of marriage itself in a series of features that celebrate your unique bond and the journey you're about to embark on.
'The Bold and the Beautiful' is about finding the courage to ensure your personalities and the nature of your relationship shines through every element of your wedding. By the same token, 'I Do, I Do, I Do!' is packed with expert tips for planning a so-you ceremony that promises to be the highlight of your day. Happily married couples bestow their advice for a long and lasting marriage in 'Happily Ever After' and in 'The Power of Two' we meet three couples who decided to marry in the most intimate and personal of ways in idyllic corners of Cornwall.
We showcase more personality-packed weddings in this issue's 'Got Wed'. From Hannah and Liam's wet and wonderful day at Pengenna Manor to Philly and Alan's sun-kissed celebrations on the shores of Lusty Glaze, prepare for the cockles of your heart to be well and truly warmed as seven couples share their soul-stirring and beautifully individual love stories.
Enjoy!
