Introducing Moreton House

New wedding venue Moreton House has opened its doors in North Devon ' and it offers elegance and romance in abundance. A Georgian stately home on the outskirts of the ancient port town of Bideford, a six-year renovation project has seen the building bloom into a beautiful, light-filled venue. Its range of impressive yet homely spaces and luxurious on-site accommodation makes it a perfect setting for a modern wedding. Rich in the beauty of this corner of Devon, guests can enjoy roaming the five acres of landscaped tree-lined gardens, while the breathtaking vistas of the north coast are less than two miles away.

Offering a culinary experience to match the awe-inspiring setting, Moreton House has announced an exciting partnership with award-winning restaurant The Royal George. After successfully joining forces to pull together a wedding with just eight weeks' notice ' see Chloe and Adam's real wedding feature in the new Devon issue ' the two family-run businesses agreed to join forces again to offer a limited number of prime weekend wedding packages for 2022, with the catering and so much more taken care of in the finest way possible.

Starting at £9,950 for 30 guests (plus £125 per additional day guest), the packages will be offering Moreton House for up to 70 day guests, 100 evening guests and accommodation for up to 30. Catering and drinks will be provided by The Royal George, with fully bespoke menus designed and cooked by their talented executive chef. The packages also include ceremony set-up, full banqueting set-up, a fully stocked and staffed bar, and exclusive use of the house and grounds for the weekend, with venue dressing and service overseen by The Royal George's experienced front of house manager! It's what wedding dreams are made of ' everything taken care of in the most scenic of settings.
