One hundred years after the Art Deco movement made its glorious way into the world, this specially styled shoot evokes the pure decadence of the era with dazzling detail and to-die-for dresses that set the swoon factor to a dizzying high.
Let's start with the models - a vision of 1920-inspired sass - with sleek finger wave updos and long silent movie star esque waves flanked by heavenly headwear and kiss-me red pouts. Gowns in silver, white and black with bedazzling detail including intricate embroidery, beautiful beadwork and a smattering of sparkle complete the lusted-after look and mirror the latest runways' vintage glam offerings.
Tablescapes adorned with crystals, sequins, feathers and gold tableware featured stunning place settings and floristry in keeping with the theme, while the reception space was packed with eye-catching features - from giant LOVE letters to glamorous signage, quirky artwork and classic furniture including a white piano and Chesterfield sofa.
Cocktails served in elegant glassware, a statement monochrome cake and giant potted palms all served to create a multi-layered scene packed with interest, opulence and charm. Throw in some ambient jazz tunes through saxophonist, Dave Wright and some stirring visual effects courtesy of spectacular live drawing by Jessie Wellington, and the scene is a spellbinding mix for all the senses.
