A moorland love story at Badgers Holt

What could be more wildly romantic than taking your vows in a riverside location in the heart of Dartmoor? A fully licensed indoor and outdoor venue, couples can exchange vows immersed in natural beauty and host a rustic reception in this hidden gem – a former fishing lodge that has been transformed into a rural bolthole boasting myriad spaces and palpable ambience.

A realxed and romantic location for a wedding through all the seasons, the venue plays host to elopements, intimate events and parties for up to 100 guests and every package is customised to suit each couple’s vision. Feast on a hearty hog roast or three-course banquet - and maybe embrace a festival feel with a chilled evening vibe of food trucks and live music. Just imagine the romance of dramatic photographs on stacked granite boulders beneath endless skies, or under towering oak trees as the sun scatters through the leaves. And, as night falls, dance the night away beneath twinkling fairy lights or gather around the firepit with your loved ones.
