Bespoke jewellery from Becca Williams
With a focus on the bespoke, Becca Williams crafts jewellery as individual as your love. After gaining a degree in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Becca has been a pearl threader, enamel polisher and a workshop assistant to one of the country’s most respected goldsmiths, honing her eye and experience before relocating to the Cornish coast in 2018 and establishing her own workshop and gallery in Penryn. If you’re keen to wear a wedding ring that has been made especially for – or by – you, then the designer-maker will help to create a personalised piece to covet a lifetime.
“Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is an opportunity to have something made entirely for you,” she says. “I take a collaborative approach to commissions where we work together to realise your ideas; whether it’s modifying one of my existing jewellery designs, or creating something completely new.” You might be armed with a vision, be in need of inspiration or simply be drawn to her exquisite designs. Alternatively, should you be in possession of an heirloom band or vintage items that you’d like transformed into your ring, she’ll custom-craft a sentimental piece to suit. “I remodel jewellery that you’ve inherited or simply no longer wear, giving it a new lease of life. I love hearing the history of these wonderful pieces of jewellery, and get a little window into the lives and stories of the families who own them,” she explains. “My aim is always to create jewellery that you’ll wear, enjoy and treasure. The best part is making ideas into reality, be that a simple wedding band or a complex, bespoke necklace and earring set.”
And for couples who wish to stamp some extra personality onto their rings, Becca’s make-your-own wedding ring workshops provide the perfectly creative opportunity to do so. After all, “rings made by the hands that will wear them” is a poignant and meaningful act of self-expression whereby you’ll spend the day in Becca’s workshop “making memories as well as rings”. No experience is necessary as Becca will expertly lead you through each stage of the making process, allowing you to hand-make the most beautiful wedding bands with the greatest of love.
