Offering secluded romance and rural charm in equal measure, new wedding venue Boconnion is located in a picturesque valley in the heart of Cornwall. Its refurbished buildings ' including a Georgian manor house, farmhouse, and reception barn ' sit amidst acres of gardens and ancient oak woodland, making it a versatile canvas for a wedding, as this video from the styled shoot featured in
Cornwall issue 57 shows.
'When you book Boconnion for a weekend wedding, the choices of where to entertain your guests are endless, so I wanted to show couples the various options we offer,' explains wedding planner Caroline Griffiths, who coordinated the shoot.

Focusing on a relaxed, bohemian vibe, and taking inspiration from the season for the aesthetic of the shoot, it shows strong elements of spring by incorporating pastel colours. Pampas grass clouds against the cream canvas of the traditional marquee, shades of oatmeal and blush pink, and gold cutlery and rattan charger plates, all capture the soft palette and earthy textures that underpin the shoot.
It's a dream setting for the bride and groom, whose looks marry together modern boho with a gorgeously ethereal edge ' all in the perfect setting for a bohemian dream of a Cornish wedding.
