Situated high on the cliffs of North Devon, Ocean Kave is set amidst extraordinarily beautiful private grounds offering far-reaching views across the Atlantic Ocean. Immersed in natural beauty, the venue is home to many retired thoroughbred racehorses, while roe deer, rabbits and foxes can also be spotted in the lush surrounds. After years of experience as an award-winning wedding venue, the team is now specialising exclusively in elopement and ceremony-only weddings.
One of the key draws of an elopement wedding is, of course, its stress-free nature and Ocean Kave’s elopement package means you can relax and look forward to a dreamy coastal wedding with a minimal to-do list. The enticing elopement package includes two nights’ accommodation in a luxury on-site cottage (complete with a Parisian deluxe bed, supersize whirlpool bath and private garden), a beautifully styled ceremony in either the atmospheric Kave or al fresco overlooking the rolling Atlantic, the support of the events team on the day and a photographer to capture your ceremony. A breakfast hamper, celebratory toast drink, canapés and catering for the newlyweds is also included. Choose from a three-course private dining experience for two in your cottage, a picnic hamper served in the candlelit Kave or a banquet, barbecue or picnic for up to six guests.
The dog-friendly venue also offers a ceremony-only package for couples who envision a spectacular seaside ceremony with up to 60 guests in attendance before continuing the celebrations at an alternative venue. As well as hire of the Kave and grounds and the support of the events team, optional extras such as drinks, canapés and lawn games are available.
Irresistibly romantic, Ocean Kave offers a sublime blend of seclusion, breathtaking scenery and luxe comforts for couples dreaming of stealing away to the sea to say “I do”.
