BOHO VIBES
Throw a playful party with these pompom chair backs
You will need:
A selection of coloured wool, cardboard, sharp scissors, craft knife, pencil, two round templates for the discs
Method:
1. Take the cardboard and, using the pencil, draw around the larger circle to create the outer shape for the template.
2. Place the smaller circle central to the larger one and draw around it.
3. Cut out the larger circle with the scissors.
4. Cut out the centre circle with the craft knife, leaving you with two disc shapes.
5. Place the circles together and start winding the wool around the discs from the centre to the outer edge.
6. Keep winding the wool around until the disc surface is entirely covered. If you run out of wool, tie the ends together and continue where you left off.
7. Use the scissors to cut the wool in between the cardboard. Cut slowly and hold tight until you have cut the whole way around.
8. Take a piece of wool about 30cm in length and use it to tie off the pompom by pulling the string between the two cardboard discs and then tightening it around the centre.
9. Pull off the cardboard discs and trim the pompom ends.
10. Make a garland by threading a piece of wool through the middle of several pompoms and secure to the chair.
