Forget tacky tinsel and plastic ornaments, this Christmas-themed photo shoot is festive styling at its best. With the yuletide scene being set with tartan, wood and wicker, the rich red colours and deep greens against the grain of the wood bring a natural aesthetic to the shoot by The Prop Factory. 

Shot at Powderham Castle in Devon, there's a palpable feeling of Christmas lingering over the images. You can almost smell the scent of festive gingerbread filling the air, hear the crackle of chestnuts, feel the warmth of the open log fire.

The rustic table - piled high with festive goodies amongst piles of fir cones and gorgeously wrapped gifts - is the focal point, wrapped in an oversized bow, while vintage postboxes are nestled amongst holly and firs, and a cheeky giant gingerbread man adorns the grounds.
