Taking place at Ashridge Great Barn on Sunday 24th October (10am-4pm), the event is being organised by professional stylist experts Knots & Kisses to offer a plethora of hands on fun and entertainment for all types of visitor.

Anyone wanting to experiment with top tipples for an extra crowd-pleasing factor to their day (or a spot of couple's fun to break from the planning) may wish to join Nick and Jade, couple and co-creators of The Fizzy Pheasant. Providing fully inclusive mobile bar hire services for weddings and events across the South West of England (and beyond), they bring the bar, the staff, and the drinks directly from their beautiful shaker bar in dove grey or charcoal grey, or - from this Autumn - their new horsebox bar. Their 45 minute cocktail master class will offer top tastes and expert tutelage, and includes a goody bag with ingredients and recipe cards.

Meanwhile, explore your crafty and artistic side with a taster session of calligraphy courtesy of Devon-based calligraphy company, Wild Sea Calligraphy. "I fell in love with calligraphy at an early age, I was mesmerised by beautiful hand lettering - being a creative soul my journey led me to modern calligraphy and the rest as we say is history! I adore teaching others this beautiful lettering style and really believe the more time spent writing the more time to connect with your inner, calmer self," says business owner, Lyndsey.

From modern calligraphy kits to handwritten wedding vows and engraved champagne and gin glasses, calligraphy envelopes and place settings, all of her eye-catching products have been carefully designed, with the option of personalisation through your chosen choice of words, poems, vows or quotes.

Then there's the gorgeous stationery from the de Winton Paper co. Harriet de Winton hand paints beautiful watercolour wedding stationery including save the dates, invitations, gin bottle table plans and themed place cards available in a range of pre-designed collections or as a bespoke service, allowing you an extra opportunity to add some style and character to your day.

Her one hour 'Paint Your Own Placecards Workshop' with published author will focus on the art of the perfect guest place card, offering an introduction to watercolour flower painting to help you create your very own mini floral borders and decorative details to create a place card that every guest will want to take home!

And let's not forget the floristry. Produce your very own dried flower crown during a 45 minute workshop with luxury event florist, Emma Hewlett, whose extensive experience, innate eye and expert knowledge combines to create the most wow worthy wedding blooms, from bouquets and buttonholes to venue displays, table decor and dramatic hanging installations.
