Plymouth’s hippest haunt, Pier Master’s House, can be found teetering over the water at the ocean city’s historic Barbican, blending location with the building’s beautifully restored interiors for a wedding replete with the wow factor. Jutting into the sea at the end of the pier, the restaurant-bar seats 300 and includes three balcony areas, a large deck with outdoor covered seating and two floors of indoor seating – making it a stunning and versatile all-season choice for every type and size of wedding. Exposed wooden beams, painted stone walls and wooden floors evoke a rustic-chic look, which can be styled to be as pared-back or dressed up to suit, while the oceanic surrounds are framed by light-filled windows and doors that open up to reveal marina-wide views.
Presenting two packages, couples can pick from the all-inclusive option (available Sunday to Thursday for a minimum of 50 guests), which includes a hog roast, drinks selection, evening buffet and DJ; or the Sunset Package (available Sunday to Thursday for a minimum of 60 guests, 6pm-midnight), which features a welcome drink, buffet and DJ. What’s more, both packages can cater for more guests (charged per head), with the Sunset Package also available on weekends for a supplemental charge. For a city wedding by the water at one of Plymouth’s most lust-have locations, Pier Master’s House is a magical choice.
