For brides seeking some inspiration with a dose of drama, the Cornish coast has it in spades, and one particular location that epitomises the rugged beauty that makes the county so world-loved and renowned is the far west, aka: Poldark territory.
Captured against the stunning backdrop of Geevor Mine near Pendeen, this recent fashion shoot by Joey Lamb and a small team of industry professionals showcases the stirring beauty of the location alongside the gorgeously-styled model, where flowers, dresses, hair and make-up all combine to create a unique, show-stealing look.
"We felt this
shoot would be creative and visually stunning, using all backdrops
available from sea, to rugged ruins to industrial beauty," explains Joey.
"I wanted to create a simple, vintage look that was also elegant and
beautiful. The wedding dress chosen for the photo shoot had a unique
style, with lace, long sleeves and distinctive waist detail. We kept the colours soft and muted, which we incorporated with the make
up and bouquet of flowers. We also used a model with distinct
tattoos, which we felt added a unique and modern twist."
