Introducing an idyllic countryside venue in the Tamar Valley
If you’re seeking somewhere incredibly special to tie the knot, Rumleigh Farm offers rural romance of the most covetable kind. Nestled in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Cornwall and Devon border, the historic farmstead provides a sublime backdrop in which to wed amongst 17 idyllic acres. A back-to-nature haven, the eco-friendly venue is currently in the throes of becoming completely organic, sustainably farming rare breed sheep, goats and heritage apple varieties – and even producing its own apple juice.
Licensed for civil ceremonies, the 17th century events barn accommodates receptions for up to 60 guests (and 120 for evening receptions), while its Friday-Monday hire package allows exclusive roam amongst the farm and its scenic surrounds. Exchange your vows in the Events Barn, Medieval Sitting Room or River Shack, or opt for an al fresco ceremony on the riverbank, orchard or any outdoor space of your choosing for a unique and wildly romantic setting.
Offering only limited dates between May and October maintains the venue’s exclusive and tailored service, allowing you to design a day to individually suit, including your preferred suppliers and style. Accommodation comes in the form of The Farmhouse, The Long Barn (both with beautifully appointed bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchens and spacious living rooms; plus, there’s a spring water hot tub), and an adjoining annexe, allowing you to spend quality downtime with friends and family before and after the main event at this dreamily idyllic hidden gem.
