Boho whimsy meets vintage style in this by-the-sea shoot at The Falmouth Hotel

"This was a very impulsive decision on a late Sunday evening where I had a surge of inspiration to photograph a bridal editorial," reveals photographer Olivia Bayly. "We had two days to bring it all together and get in contact with suppliers who would also be interested in such a short notice photo shoot. We pulled it off and that meant I could run wild with my imagination and capture the way I wanted it to look!"

Selecting the vintage climes of The Falmouth Hotel as the location for the shoot, they were given free reign to explore and capture the venue and its surrounds, which culminated in a photo shoot on the beach - "a tiny sliver as it was high tide to the extreme: we had to be very quick in that location!" says Olivia.

A trio of stunning gowns from Caroline Fricker Bridal were used alongside three bouquets and a flower crown from Christine Hamshaw Floristry and three different make-up looks by Abi Murray Make-up to create the series of bridal looks, which took a beautiful variety of aesthetics, as Olivia explains: "Overall, I wanted the feel of the photos to look somewhat vintage in some locations and then bohemian in others; there were many moods with this editorial which I'm very happy with!"

The result is a swoon-worthy showcase of the latest bridal trends, from lace sleeves and stunning separates to feathers, flower crowns and eye-catching make-up against a stirring Cornish backdrop.
