Situated on the North coast just in land from Port Isaac, Cornish Tipi Weddings offers a wildly romantic backdrop for a wedding with its canvas of ancient woodland, a picturesque lake and meadows carpeted with wildflowers. Renowned for its brilliantly individual weddings, the venue has now opened a funky little café featuring timber, bamboo and a cosy polytunnel decked out with hessian swags and upcycled furniture to create a colourful, charm-packed space.
The Tipi Kitchen can cater for a bespoke wedding feast for up to 50 people dining inside the polytunnel or more in the café garden outside. It also makes an ideal spot for a pre-wedding feast and breakfast on the big day and morning after. The menu changes daily, serving up the likes of woodfired pizzas, surf ‘n’ turf and Thai dishes alongside homemade brownies, local ice cream and sorbets. Breakfast comprises a series of classics including homemade granola, berries and yoghurt, bacon and egg focaccia rolls and smashed avocado on toast, while the drinks menu features organic wines, Cornish farm cider, local beer on top, alcohol-free favourites and delectable cocktails.
Imagine beginning your first day of married life with a dip in the freshwater lake followed by a delicious brunch at this cute café with your family and friends – the perfect finale to a wonderful wedding weekend!
