Embracing a relaxed vibe while celebrating the vibrant, joy-filled feel of spring, this styled shoot at Tregedna Weddings showcases the spectacular setting of the south Cornwall venue.
The ceremony space, The Loft, is a light-filled vision of romance courtesy of festooned fairy lights wrapped around the exposed beams, a gorgeous floral arch and pew end arrangements with asymmetric sashes adorned by bright posies. Tall glass hurricane candlestick holders provide another focal point while completing the scene of understated elegance.
The bright and bloomy theme continues in the reception area of The Barn, where trestle tables are decorated with colourful textured glassware, miniature vases of mixed petals and a rainbow of tapered candles atop luxe gold candlesticks. Table settings with fuchsia pink napkins and floral stationery lie upon glass beaded charger plates, blending natural styling with modern opulence, while fabrics draped from the wooden beams and tabletops lend another layer of light to the space. The cake is a contemporary piece of floral art, its three tiers of hand-painted buttercream botanical detail merging texture, pattern and colour whilst beautifully reflecting the shoot’s seasonal theme.
Mirroring her surrounds to showstopping effect, the bride dons a fitted frock with draping shoulder streamer and cowl back, and a ruched, illusion-panelled back bodice with floral, sequin-studded embroidery. Free-flowing curls and a statement floral crown completes the ethereal look. The groom’s slate grey three-piece with textured brogues, floral print tie and floral buttonhole perfectly pairs with his botanical-inspired bride. With colour reigning supreme through the shoot, the contrast of the clean lines of the couple allows the décor to pop and the effect to enchant.
