Grandeur and grace bestow bridal magic against the backdrop of a majestic Cornish castle

The theme for this shoot was a Romantic Castle Wedding, opulent and luxurious, with the unique character of the Pengersick Castle bestowing magic on the scene. Referencing classic fairytales, as well as literary favourites such as 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Romeo & Juliet', adds a hint of mystery and dreaminess to the story.

Co-ordinated to showcase the amazing range of gorgeous gowns at The Bridal Studio in Helston, the backdrop of Pengersick Castle allows the dresses to take centre stage. Luxe lace and billowing trains trail delicately over the granite stone steps, standing bright and beautiful against grand castle doorways and old stone walls. The outdoor gazebo brings a lightness to the shoot, an alternative place in which to wed under the sunny skies.

Delicate handmade jewellery complements the starkness of the stone - jewels woven between tendrils of hair brings a softness to the shoot, while the wild and deliciously untamed feel of the flowers show the beauty among the blooms. There's a regal sense of majestic pride among the table settings; rich red runners and gold cast cutlery sit among heavy goblets and imposing candlesticks. The castle stands tall, the dresses divine, and the effect is regal romance at its best.
