The natural beauty of Devon's flora makes the prettiest backdrop for a shoot at Tawstock Court
A new wedding venue in North Devon, Tawstock Court is an 18th-century manor house in 32 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, just perfect for a sweet spring shoot designed to showcase the seasonal blooms of the county.
The shoot - planned by Laura of Freeformimages Photography and Vicky of Do Me A Favour UK - takes inspiration from the natural settings, with accessories taking the form of butterfly crowns and a flowered cloak.
The flowers bloom bright in rich shades of purple and deep reds, standing proud against the backdrop of bluebells and wild garlic flowers, offering a chance for the bride to walk among the trailing flora, juxtaposing with the option to sit awhile on a plush velvet throne.
Hair styling in the form of long tendrils and loose curls adds to the outdoorsy, natural vibe, with barely there make-up allowing the bride's beauty to shine bright, while a hand-fasting ceremony brings a celtic nod to proceedings.
Nestled deep in the grounds is a hidden yurt, decorated with bunting and with a boho-luxe aesthetic to add a laid-back dimension to the styling, before the imposing backdrop of the impressive castle-like manor house stands mightily behind the couple.
