Strawberry Leisure is pleased as punch to announce that the recent Scorrier House Wedding Show raised £4, 370 for Children's Hospice South West.
A resounding success for exhibitors, attendees and of course, the brilliantly worthy charity - the event was in the pipeline for a while for Bob and Kate Amos of Strawberry Leisure, who have been determined to support Cornwall's new and only children's hospice, Little Harbour.
Donating £15 for each booking received this year on their stunning split screen wedding campervans Lola, Lulu and Lily - the benevolent pair decided a wedding event would generate even greater funds while providing brides and grooms-to-be with a fabulous day out.
The stunning venue was decorated by Elle Winsor-Grime from Inspire Hire and with flowers by Phillip Taylor Corps, who transformed Scorrier House into a traditional British summer fete style venue. Guests delighted in cream teas by About Taste and free canapes by The Round Kitchen while Claire's Cakes baked a bounty of scrummy cupcakes and Mr. B's retro ice cream van donated all takings to the cause.
Entertainment found fine form in the Celtic Brass Ensemble, wowing the 200-strong visitors who all kindly contributed to the wonderful amount of money raised.
