Cakes, canapes, chocolates, spas, designer gowns, luxury retreats... Ladies and gents, wet your lips for a sensory feast. From the tongue-tingling delights of your sugary centrepiece to the soul-stirring bliss of a spa session, we aim to inspire one scrumptious celebration.
Let's start with the dresses. We've visited two sublime properties to shoot this issue's bridal features: Cragford, a luxury cliff-side sanctuary on the western tip of the county, and Scorrier House, a graceful country house nestled amidst idyllic woods and parkland. 'Starry Eyed' paints visions of modern bridal glamour, blending a flourish of jewels with full, lavish skirts. 'Portrait of a Lady' marries bridal fashion with a country chic twist: beaded bodices and elegance lace meet statement feathers and vintage netting.
On a vintage theme, our venues feature 'Once Upon A Time' showcases some of Cornwall's dreamiest historic wedding settings. From a fort on the Rame Peninsula to a Queen Anne manor house in the far west of the county, prepare to be inspired.
My personal highlight of compiling this issue was beholding - and sinking my teeth into - the delicious cake and chocolate creations made for our scrumptious special 'Sweet Art'. Turn to p.68 for some mouth-watering ideas.
Cornwall has been host to some outrageously beautiful weddings this summer. If only we had enough pages to fit them all in. See p.108 for our biggest 'Got Wed' section ever. It's dreamy stuff.
Hope you enjoy.
