"Drawing upon classical influences as well as those more rustic touch-points closer to home in Cornwall, we desired a look that was as smoothly lithe and refined as It was relaxed and down to earth," says Alex of On Serpentine Shores, who designed and styled the shoot.

The bare beams, fresh white walls and clean lines of the furniture mean all focus is on the beauty of the bride. A svelte and elegant gown worn alongside gracefully effortless make-up allows the chord to strike between classic and contemporary; a straightforward yet sophisticated style mirrored in the stationery, complete with glassine envelope and wax seal.

Heavy traditional pottery holds its own against a minimalist table setting of natural linens, with vine-like foliage and golden accents standing strong, the organic textures fusing to create a quietly striking dinner space.

"We've created a scene ideal for those take-a-breath moments of surveying gathered loved ones; vowing to remember always this quiet joy whenever you look back," says Alex.
