Amalfi Summer

Adding a touch of southern Italy to an English country setting, this styled shoot takes a palette of soft lemon and duck egg blue to embrace a palpably summery feel. 

Towering potted plants line the path leading to the tipi reception, with a prosecco wall welcoming guests to the celebrations. Inside, festooned fairy lights serve to conjure an intimate and swoon-worthily atmospheric setting.

Tablescapes packed with vintage china, ornamental gold candlesticks and blooms in various shades of yellow from buttermilk to lemon zest create a sensorial feast, while fine, gold-rimmed charger plates are framed by white and gold flatware to lend a sense of modern opulence. Mismatched floral and striped tablecloths promote a more playful and eclectic vibe, contrasting with the clear glassware that completes the picture of classic-meets-contemporary styling. 

A stationery suite featuring lemon motifs and intricate illustrations continues the colour scheme and ties the theme together, reflecting everything from the florals to the cake: a four-tiered masterpiece of textured elements and exquisite floral embellishment. The bride presents a showcase of the latest lust-worthy trends with a midriff-baring two-piece and free-flowing locks adorned with a single oversized bow, and a satin peplum top with a diamanté encrusted veil. Simple floral drop earrings are replaced by dazzling gold chandeliers and a loose, pearl-studded updo for an added air of glamour that ushers in the evening party and the promise of a long, sun-drenched summer.
