The epitome of country grandeur with a heady twist of glamour, St Audries Park – situated at the foot of the Quantock Hills – is the perfectly picturesque backdrop for this beautifully whimsical styled shoot. A palette of pastel pink, lilac, peach and blue blend with soft textures to create an uber-romantic look and atmosphere in the country manor house with its light-filled spaces and fabulous period features.
The Victorian Orangery brings the drama with its golden aisle and towering floor-to-ceiling windows, while a statement floral arch and smattering of floor arrangements draw the gaze along and toward the end of the aisle, the surrounding parkland providing a lush green canvas from every view beyond. In the Banqueting Hall overlooking the rose garden and deer park, trestle tables adorned with baby pink chiffon runners, colourful glassware and candles, and a rainbow of blooms create an air of romantic sophistication. This is mirrored by the cake: a four-tiered extravaganza featuring seasonal sugar clematis flowers alongside intricate baby blue, iridescent pearl, gold leaf and floral detailing.
The dress – a pale blue confection of voluminous ruffled tulle – oozes wow-worthy seduction and is contemporised with a deep plunging neckline, delicate spaghetti back straps and 3D silk blossom petals. Not to be sartorially outdone by his bride, the groom is the picture of princely chic in timelessly tailored black tie. A fairytale vision brought to life.
