Dreaming of escaping to an away-from-it-all corner of Devon for a small and secluded wedding celebration? Set amidst the rolling hills of South Devon in Ipplepen near Totnes, Battleford Farm offers an off-the-beaten-track location, where ancient oak trees and a babbling brook meet a patchwork of lush fields. Having recently launched an elopement package, this styled shoot illustrates how wildly romantic an elopement here can be. 
 
The myriad backdrops of the venue move from oak trees and sprawling farmland to the three-acre field, tree swing and picturesque hills. Natural, earthy hues of burnt orange, russet red and caramel brown form the base palette, which is spliced with shots of yellow, crimson, muted whites and green foliage. The result is a multi-tonal, textured and sense-piquing scene. Place settings comprising raffia placemats, gold flatware and ribbon nametags add to the boho-chic scene, while tabletops bedecked with orange runners, forest green candlesticks and goblets, and mixed posies of fresh and dried florals in brown bottles evoke the farm’s surrounds. 
 
The wardrobe enhances the boho-chic theme, with the groom’s contemporary, camel-coloured two-piece finished with a collarless shirt, leather loafers and cream and dried flower boutonniere: the epitome of laidback tailoring. 
 
Meanwhile, the bride’s floral embroidered gown presents the perfect blend of modern seduction and classic romance, her trailing locks with a crown braid and pearl and leaf hair vine adding an ethereal edge. Floral chandelier earrings and an oversized bouquet showcasing the shoot’s spectrum of shades stitch the details together in this canvas of natural beauty.
