Blue and white take centre stage in this fresh and inviting styled shoot at Roswarne. Complementing the period features and charm of the historic house, the styling draws upon and accentuates the building’s light-filled spaces and elegant interiors. Blooms in varying shades of blue are scattered throughout the venue and tabletops, blending the inside with the scenic outdoors, the blossomy motifs carried everywhere from the stationery to the charger plates and napkins. Clear glassware with tapered textured candlesticks, small vases of blue and white buds and ornate silver flatware blend simple styling with an edge of opulence, lending the scene multiple layers of interest. 
 
The grand staircase is adorned with flowers and drapes that enhance the sense of romance, while the cake continues the botanical theme: a four-tiered extravaganza adorned with blue ruffles and 3D petals reminiscent of a bridal gown. Floral arrangements take eclectic form and range from petite posies in vases and atop wooden flower stands to small troughs spilling blooms onto the floor.
 
Not to be overshadowed by the décor, the bride and groom are the picture of modern style. His navy blue three-piece suit, floral print tie and matching pocket square, with brown leather loafers, ooze laidback chic, while her strapless sweetheart gown with centre split is the epitome of classic-meets-contemporary glamour. A sweeping train, curly chignon, pearl jewellery and butterfly heels complete the en vogue ensemble. Her second look strikes a more nostalgic tone courtesy of a classic sheer-sleeved V-neck gown with elaborate embroideries. A lariat pearl necklace dangles over the open back and is complemented by pearl drop earrings as the groom swaps his pocket square for a buttonhole of fresh white snowdrops – the treescapes and lush green foliage making a beautiful backdrop to their newlywed embrace.
