Wedding at Syon House, Devon

Taking their colour scheme from tropical fruits including pineapples, passion fruits, pomegranates, apples and grapes, Syon House became their personal and inspired vision of a colour and character-filled day. Commencing with an informal ceremony at a registry office with only their parents present, Ichha and Ollie chose to keep the formalities as pared-back and low-key as possible, though admit it was "exciting to sign the wedding certificate on the same day".

Returning to Syon House to dress in their wedding finest, the newly-weds visited Bicton Park for photos in the beautiful gardens. They followed this with a short humanist ceremony "at the front of the aisle we'd made on the lawn" of Syon House amidst glorious sunshine to an audience of extended family and friends.

Relocating to the beautifully dressed tipi for supper and speeches - one of Ichha's personal highlights was her dad's speech - the evening party featured a packed dance floor with a particular soundtrack, as Ollie explains. "Our DJ was quite into trance music, which proved interesting throughout the evening - but he was great fun!"

Of their post-wedding plans, Ichha reveals: "There was no whisking us off on a honeymoon. We're now in South America for an extended break, travelling through Brazil, Patagonia, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru, ending in Cuba in a few months' time."
